Failure of the watchdog file

A defective watchdog file blocks the monitoring and reconfiguration of the shared pubset network. For this reason, the file must be deleted by systems support so that a new file can be created by the system. It is only possible to delete the file if the pubset is exported from all sharers and is then imported exclusively on one processor. The watchdog file ($TSOS.SYS.PVS.SHARER.CONTROL with SF pubsets; $TSOS.SYS.PVS.SHARER.CONTROL.<control-volume-set-id> with SM pubsets) can now be deleted. The pubset must then be exported again from the processor. Finally, the shared pubset network can be reestablished. A new watchdog file is automatically created during the master import.
