Manual removal of a crashed sharer

&pagelevel(3)&pagelevel

If the pubset session cannot be ended properly (i.e. one or more sharers cannot export the pubset, error-free recovery was not possible), a new master import is only possible after the UNLOCK-DISK command has been executed. This command resets all the file locks set by a sharer with respect to a shared pubset. In addition, the SYSID of the crashed sharer is deleted from the SVL sharer list of the disk.
The current SVL sharer list can be obtained via the SHOW-DISK-STATUS command.

The command must only be used for sharers that are definitely not occupying the pubset. Otherwise, the integrity and consistency of the pubset cannot be guaranteed. If the respective pubset is an XCS pubset, an operating error of this type can endanger the integrity and consistency of the entire XCS network.
