Setting up a location

A location is set up in two steps. The following example shows how the location AML001 is set up for a real archive system:

//modify-maren-parameters location-entries=*par(loc-name=aml001,action=*add(operating-mode=robar-1)) 

In order to be able to use the tape drives of the archive system, their assignment to the location AML001 must be defined in the BS2000 device management:

/add-device-depot unit=(a0,a1,a2),location=aml001
