Automatic free volume allocation with MARENUCP

The MAREN component MARENUCP automates the allocation of free tapes.

If a tape is requested without specifying an archive number (scratch request), MARENUCP takes over the tasks of the operator. MARENUCP finds a free tape in the MAREN catalog, reserves it for the user, and ensures that the tape is readied for processing.
