Emulated functions of 9750 data display terminal

The following functions of the 9750 data display terminal are emulated by MT9750:

  • Format free and format controlled operation

  • Color representation and configuration

  • Programmable keys

  • Support for 9750 function keys

  • Character generation

  • Support for 8-bit character sets

  • Configuration option for decimal symbol, cursor, and deleted screen area

  • Printing of host files on local printers (bypass)

  • Output of screen captures on local printers (hard copy)

  • Support for the following structured instructions:

  • status message, status request, read P areas, define screen, reset screen, and error messages.

  • Support for advanced attribute definitions

Additional functions

In addition to replicating the functions of the data display terminal, MT9750 provides further functions:

  • Optional automatic adjustment of characters to the window size or manual configuration

  • Session recording for error diagnosis

  • Multiple sessions

  • Copying and pasting screen data using the Windows clipboard

  • Communication via LAN (Local Area Network)

  • Programming custom P keys and macro keys

  • Window for displaying key assignments with the option of executing the functions with the mouse

  • Window with a custom selection of frequently used functions, including custom P keys and macro keys

  • Support for PC keyboards and MF2-compatible keyboards

  • In Cyrillic Windows, switching to the alternative character set is supported

  • Option of adapting the keyboard mapping to individual needs

  • File transfer between PC and BS2000 host: Either with the VFT product supplied or with openFT
