Troubleshooting for setup problems

An emulation program is a software product whose functionality depends on correct configuration of the PC, communication software, and host.

In case of problems, the following items should be checked:

MT9750 configuration

Make sure that the correct character set is set in the DSS Mode dialog box in the Configuration menu.
If necessary, also check the DSS Type setting.

Connection

Make sure that the host name you have entered matches either the name on the name server or the host name in the lmhosts file (on the Windows-System under %SystemRoot%\System32\drivers\etc) .

BS2000 host

Communication errors can be caused by the host generation. Check communication with the host.
