Using multiple sessions

&pagelevel(4)&pagelevel

MT9750 can run applications in different session windows in parallel. To do this, you must open additional sessions in the Session menu.

As soon as more than one session is opened, all the sessions are organized in tabs.

In the Window menu you can specify how the different session windows are displayed: Tile or Cascade.

When using multiple windows (sessions) you can also use this menu to set which window will be the active one.
If multiple sessions have been started and a message window is displayed, e.g. containing information about termination of a session, there are no screen outputs in other session windows until the message has been acknowledged. The same applies if a menu is selected. The sessions themselves remain active in the background.

All open sessions are closed when exiting the emulation program - the sessions do not have to be exited individually. The Window menu also contains the Close All option for exiting the sessions.

Session selection / Switching sessions

There are different ways how to select an opened session:

  • Using tabs
  • Using the key combination [CTRL]+[Tab]
  • Using the key combination [CTRL]+[Shift]+[<Number>]
