Hardware and software requirements

Resource requirements on PC

• MT9750 can be run on Windows x86 PCs and laptops with min. 1 GB RAM, and 20 MB free hard drive space.
• An additional 3 MB of main memory is used for each session.
• A CD-ROM drive is required for installation of the full product or the admin program (no client installation). The online documentation supplied is also on a CD and is read from the CD when required.
• Later versions of Microsoft Windows and Windows Server are recommended for operation of MT9750. For details of the versions for which MT9750 V9.0 is approved, see the current release notes.

BS2000 software

A currently approved BS2000 version including openNet Server must be installed on the BS2000 host.

Bypass print output via LAN is also carried out using BS2000 openNet Server.

The XHCS subsystem for 8-bit/Unicode support in BS2000 is loaded by default.
