BCOUT: Close down route

If the route to be closed down leads to a router then, if required, the ARP function must be deactivated separately with the MODIFY-ROUTE-ATTRIBUTES command.

Name of the route

TYPE=...
Specifies the type of connection shutdown.

TYPE=QUICK
Connection shutdown occurs in the network.

TYPE=NORMAL, ...
A connection shutdown occurs in the network.

W=...
This operand displays whether or not a warning about the termination of the application is displayed.

W=NO
No warning is displayed.
This option must only be used in “emergencies”, since the relevant applications have no opportunity to terminate under control.

W=YES
A warning is displayed.

Command logging

For reasons of compatibility, the processing acknowledgment is supplied in news BCA0763 if it is positive and in news BCA0762 if it is negative, followed by the message NBR0740. In addition, for positive acknowledgments, the messages BCA0853 and BCA0626 may also appear.
