Definition of a VLAN device

&pagelevel(5)&pagelevel

A prerequisite for VLAN definition is always that a VLAN device has been defined. This is done using the CREATE-VLAN-DEVICE command. In contrast to a normal LAN this is a new BCAM object which cancels the intermixing of the line and the device definition.

Dynamic generation of the VLAN device

/CREATE-VLAN-DEVICE DEVICE-NAME=VLANDV-
/ ,WRITE-DEVICE=60B0-
/ ,READ-DEVICE=60B1-
/ ,SLOW-POLL=*OFF-
/ ,LAN-ADDRESS=*DYNAMIC-
/ ,MAX-LPDU-SIZE=*BY-DEVICE
