Line definitions and settings

&pagelevel(5)&pagelevel

The following operands must be set in the CREATE-LINE or CREATE-VLAN-LINE command to define how the line switchover is to take place.

AUTO-ROUTE-RESWITCHING=...
ROUTE-RESWITCHING=...
SLOW-POLL=...

Note:

SLOW-POLL is also an operand of the CREATE-VLAN-DEVICE command. The value of SLOW-POLL must therefore be coordinated in the relevant commands.

In a general redundant configuration the setting of the LPDU-SIZE must be uniform, i.e. all the lines involved must have an identical setting. As the LPDU SIZE is set on a devicedependent basis, this setting must be checked separately before being used:

MAX-LPDU-SIZE= ...

Note:

MAX-LPDU-SIZE is also an operand of the CREATE-VLAN-DEVICE command. The value of MAX-LPDU-SIZE must therefore be coordinated in the relevant commands.

Group redundancy is controlled using the following operands:

REDUNDANT-LINE= ...
REDUNDANT-SUBGROUP= ...
