Changing the line settings

You can modify the values you have set later using the MODIFY-LINE or MODIFY-VLAN-LINE command.

Use the MODIFY-LINE or MODIFY-VLAN-LINE command to define that a (VLAN) line is to be deactivated when the TIMEOUT message BCA0925 (line), BCA0955 (vlan line) or BCA0965 (vlan device) is issued for it:

TIMEOUT-PROCESSING=*DEACTIVATE-LINE

The line is then deactivated and a switchover to a redundant configuration is initiated. Note that the default value is *KEEP-LINE.

The messages BCA0570 (line) and BCA0571 (vlan line) provide information on which local addresses apply for which line or VLAN line.
