GETDNS usage in SOCKETS(BS2000)

In SOCKETS(BS2000) all supported DNS functions are forwarded as a query to GETDNS.

If GETDNS cannot return a positive response of a DNS server, SOCKETS(BS2000) attempts to obtain the required information from the BCAM-internal management structures. It is also possible to first attempt to obtain the information from the BCAM-internal management structures and only use GETDNS as a fallback. This can be done via the setsockopt() function in SOCKETS(BS2000).
