Incompatibility when accessing the WebAdmin add-on

&pagelevel(3)&pagelevel

From M2000 V6.5, i.e. with SEM base roles, access to the WebAdmin add-on is only controlled via the SEM accounts and their base roles, see Logging in at the WebAdmin add-on.

Up to M2000 V6.4, i.e. without SEM base roles, every SEM user may call up the WebAdmin add-on and may work with the privilege defined for his WebAdmin user ID.

When updating from M2000 V6.4 to V6.5, please note:

  • No adjustments are required for the SEM accounts admin and service, or for accounts with the Administrator role.
  • Otherwise for SEM accounts for which the Master privilege was defined in the WebAdmin add-on: These accounts must be assigned the base role OPENUTM administrator.
  • Otherwise for SEM accounts for which the Write privilege was defined in the WebAdmin add-on: These accounts must not be assigned the base role OPENUTM administrator, but rather the base role OPENUTM operator.
  • Otherwise for SEM accounts for which the Read privilege was defined in the WebAdmin add-on: These accounts must be assigned the base role OPENUTM information.
  • All other SEM accounts do not have access to the WebAdmin add-on.
  • The WebAdmin users displayed in the add-on can neither be changed nor created. When exiting the WebAdmin add-on, all WebAdmin users are deleted.
