Actions on the WebAdmin side

Before WebAdmin can fetch messages from the UTM applications, you must define a so-called message collector. As far as WebAdmin is concerned, message collectors are objects – in the same way as UTM users – but they are known only to WebAdmin. Their properties determine the UTM queues from which WebAdmin fetches messages, when it fetches them and what it then does with these messages.
There is also an entry "Message Collectors" in the 'Object Lists' section on the primary page of a standalone application or of a cluster node application. Click on this entry to view the list of currently defined message collectors. This object list page has a 'Create New Object' button which you can click to create a new message collector.
