Support for ID card readers on BS2000 systems

UTM supports ID card readers at data display terminals.

You can use the ID card reader in two ways:

• access protection through ID card control at sign-on

• data input via ID card

You cannot use the ID card reader both ways simultaneously: after signing on with the ID card reader, the terminal user cannot then use the ID card to enter data.
