Concept of privileges

In BS2000 several global privileges are defined which authorize a user to perform certain tasks such as global user administration or security administration (see the “Introductory Guide to Systems Support” [6 (Related publications)] for a description of the existing privileges). At least one of these privileges is assigned to each BS2000 user ID in the user catalogue.
This assignment of privileges to user IDs may be changed only if the chargeable product SECOS [10 (Related publications)] is present in the system.
