UNIT EMERGENCY switch

The UNIT EMERGENCY switch switches the system off as quickly as possible when an emergency or disaster occurs. The Server Unit is switched off immediately when the switch is pressed.
This switch should only be used in the utmost emergency. If there is still time, the system should be switched off normally using the STAND-BY key.

CAUTION!

There is a risk of data loss. When the UNIT EMERGENCY switch is pressed, system data can no longer be written back.
After it has been pressed, the UNIT EMERGENCY switch is mechanically locked. POWER ON can only be used again to switch the system on when the lock has
been canceled by Customer Support.

CAUTION!
Danger of fire and electric shock

After the UNIT EMERGENCY has been pressed, some of the circuits remain live!
Only some of the circuits are switched off. Switch off the fuses in the power distribution cabinet to eliminate this danger.

Procedure in the event of an emergency power-off:

  1. Pull out and remove the protective cover of the UNIT EMERGENCY switch.

  2. Move the switch down (from position I to position 0).
