Removing a CD/DVD manually

If there is a power failure or the drive is switched off, you can remove the CD/DVD manually.

Make sure that no application is using the device.
The device should be detached while BS2000 is operating.

>	Press a piece of wire (e.g. a paper clip) firmly into the opening for manual removal. The drive tray is unlocked and can be pulled out.

Always contact Customer Support after the tray has been pulled out manually.

After it has been removed manually, an operational drive is also only available again after the Server Unit has been restarted.
