On Brocade ICX 6450 models LEDs indicate the status of the ports, of the system, and the power status of the device.

(1) or (1) and (2) display the ports with status LEDs.
The following status indicators are possible:
LED | Display and meaning |
Ethernet | |
SFP/SFP+ (X1-X4) | Lights up green when the port is transferring 10 Gbps. Lights up green and flashes when data packets are being transferred and received. Lights up yellow when the port is transferring 1 Gbps. Lights up yellow and flashes when data packets are being transferred and received. Does not light up when no connection to a remote port exists.

The information displayed by the system status LEDs is only relevant for the service technician. Information on the status of the Net Unit which is relevant for the customer is displayed by the SE Manager in the main menu Hardware ->
IP networks.

(1) shows the power status LED.
The following status indicators are possible:
LED | Display and meaning |
PWR (Power) | Does not light up when no power is supplied. Lights up green when the internal power supply (PSU) is functioning normally. Lights up yellow when the internal power supply has failed and power is being supplied from an external power supply (EPS).
