SM2 distinguishes between privileged users ("primary" administrators, "secondary" administrators and other privileged users) and non-privileged users in the MSCF network. However, no distinction is made between the rights of a local and a remote user. A user can have different rights on different processors, depending on the privileges of this user and the rights already assigned. In particular, the primary administrator of a processor can originate from another processor. Such primary administrators can be identified on the MEASUREMENT-STATUS screen by the additional specification of the host name.
A limited set of administration instructions is available depending on the rights of the user. The set of permitted instructions can therefore differ on the various processors. Any instructions which are not permitted on the individual processors will be rejected on those processors. If several processors are selected, the instructions of the first processor specified are displayed in the dialog procedure.
