Prerequisites for implementing SM2 in the MSCF network

• An MSCF connection of type CCS (see "Connection types and network types") must exist between all processors in the network (SM2 does not distinguish between a CCS, shared pubset, or XCS network).

• SM2 is already started on all processors in the network (e.g. with /START-SM2) or has at least been loaded with the DSSM command /START-SUBSYSTEM SUBSYSTEM-NAME=SM2.

• The SM2 functions for monitored data acquisition in a network can only be used for those processors in the network that run the same SM2 version.
