Printing current session window

&pagelevel(5)&pagelevel

The Hard copy option allows you to create a screen capture of the current session on your local printer. The screen capture starts from the position of the BS2000 cursor and includes all characters up to an end marker or up to the lower right-hand corner of the screen.

Output of hard copies can be started by you or by the host application. When starting with an LAx key, we see a "manual hard copy". One of the LAx keys is the default key for printing hard copies. You can use the list of keyboard mappings to identify the keys on your PC keyboard that are assigned to this function.

Creating a hard copy of the current session window

  1. Place the cursor at the point on the screen from which you want to print the data.

  2. Press the [LA1] macro key.

The display PDEV1 appears in the status bar for the duration of printing.
