The manual is aimed at PC users who want to communicate with applications on a BS2000 host. Experience in using a PC and knowledge of how a PC network functions, operation of the relevant BS2000 applications and the basic BS2000 commands are essential.
The BS2000 environment (network, printer) must be configured by BS2000 system administrators on the host.

The functions and connection options for MT9750 are set out in chapter “Terminal emulation concept and functions”. The chapter is intended for users with little prior knowledge and can be read selectively.
The chapter “Installation” describes the prerequisites for installation and the installation itself.

MT9750 provides a context-sensitive online help, which can be called up using the Help button in dialog boxes.
Note that you cannot call up the Help using the function key [F1]
. This key is reserved for other functions.
