Administering the redundant lines

Use the ACTIVATE-LINE/DEACTIVATE-LINE or ACTIVATE-VLAN-LINE/DEACTIVATE-VLAN-LINE command to activate or deactivate the lines and VLAN lines as these commands take into account the settings which have been made and leave them unchanged.

You can use the SHOW-LINE(-ATTRIBUTES) and SHOW-VLAN-LINE(-ATTRIBUTES) commands to display the settings, the activation states and the current local address assignments.

You can obtain a quick overview of lines, VLAN devices and VLAN lines using the SHOW-BCAM-OBJECTS ... OBJECT=*LINE command for lines and the SHOW-BCAM-OBJECTS ... OBJECT=(*VLAN-LINE,*VLAN-DEVICE) command for VLAN configurations.
As an alternative to the differentiated specification, you can specify SHOW-BCAM-OBJECTS ... OBJECT=*INTERFACE.
