BCOUT: Close down virtual host

You use the BCOUT command for a virtual host to close down the host’s lines and routes. Existing applications are terminated.

Name of the virtual host.

Defines the group of objects to be closed down in addition to the host.

The operation is only performed for the specified host.

DAC=...
Specifies which objects are also deactivated.

DAC=ONLY
No additional objects are deactivated.

DAC=LOCAL
All LAN nodes are also deactivated.

DAC=NODE
Deactivation takes place for all LAN nodes , as well as all processors directly connected to the LAN which can be accessed via this LAN node.

DAC=ALL
Deactivation takes place for all accessible objects.

OUT=LOCAL, ...
The specified host is closed down, as are the processors and LAN nodes directly connected to it, including the relevant lines and routes.

Specifies which objects are also deactivated.

DAC=LOCAL
No additional objects are deactivated.

DAC=NODE
Deactivation takes place for the host and all LAN nodes, as well as all processors directly connected to the LAN which can be accessed via this LAN node.

Deactivation takes place for the host and all objects which can be directly accessed via the host.

The host is closed down as well as all LAN nodes, plus the processors directly connected to the LAN which can be accessed via this LAN node.

Deactivation takes place for the host and all objects which can be accessed via the host.

All accessible objects are closed down.

TYPE=...
Specifies the type of connection shutdown.
have no opportunity to terminate in a controlled manner.

TYPE=QUICK
Connection shutdown does not occur in the network.

TYPE=NORMAL
A connection shutdown occurs in the network.

W=...
This operand shows whether or not a warning about the termination of the application is displayed.

W=YES
A warning is displayed.

W=NO
No warning is displayed.
This option must only be used in “emergencies”, since the relevant applications Command logging

Command logging

For reasons of compatibility, the processing acknowledgment is supplied in news BCA0763 if it is positive and in news BCA0762 if it is negative, followed by the message NBR0740. In addition, for positive acknowledgments, the messages BCA08D5, BCA085D and BCA0626 may also appear.
A description of the error messages that may be issued during command processing is provided in the table below.
