  • BCAM-CMD is not available as a delivery unit; it is a subsystem.

  • The section "Address conflicts" in chapter "Operation" has been revised with respect to the handling of address conflicts.

  • The SHOW-BCAM-INFO functions which are used for diagnostic purposes are described.

  • The DNS servers must be entered in the FQDN file with an FQDN name. A corresponding entry for a DNS server in the processor file can be omitted.

  • In view of the introduction of the SE server line, the names S server and SQ server have as far as possible been removed from the general descriptions.

  • Support of the internal control LAN which uses IPv6 functionality has been introduced for SE servers. This LAN is reserved for Customer Support. It is used to support display functions and for administration of the SE server.

  • Templates for supporting initial installation of an SE server have been introduced.

  • The description of the processor file has been adjusted, and the example for the processor file has been enhanced.

  • The version-specific descriptions of the SYSPRC file of BCAMDEF have been adjusted.

  • A brief description of the diagnostic program NSLOOKUP is also provided in chapter "DNS Resolver connection".

“Operand settings” table

The table in section "Operand settings" has been complemented by the IPV6-SUPPORT, IPV6-VLAN-AUTO-CONFIG and IPV6-PREFIX-LEN-CTRL operands. The text on IPV6-AUTO-CONFIG has been corrected.
