Releasing routing table entries

Following termination of the communication link to the corresponding partner, entries that were created using automatic end system creation are released after an interval of at least 20 minutes.

Note:

In addition, it is also possible to delete end system entries for IP, IPv6 and INTF explicitly by means of the DELETE-PROCESSOR or DELETE-ROUTE commands. Deletion of the route and the processor generally takes a little time.

If access to particular routing table entries is no longer to be possible, the systems concerned must be taken out of service explicitly using a BCDAC or BCOUT command.
