Using the demonstration database

The ORDERCUST demonstration database enables you to try out some of the given examples in the manuals concerning SQL statements. You can build on these examples to develop your own SQL statements.

Selected SQL statements from the manuals are combined to form executable units for the demonstration database. The instruction files and ESQL-COBOL programs illustrate possible applications for SQL statements and are intended to give you ideas for the development of your own programs.
They are present in the library SIPANY.SESAM-SQL.<ver>.MAN-DB.
