Notational conventions

The following notational conventions are used in this manual:

This symbol indicates an important passage

References to related publications are presented in inverted commas with a short title. You will find the full title in the chapter Related Publications under the number indicated. You will also find a brief description of the manual’s contents.

Cross references indicate the chapter, and where appropriate the section. Cross references concerning subjects discussed in other manuals only give the relevant manual’s short title. The subject can be found in that manual with the help of the index.
